African Group is proud to play an important role in securing the event, which is the first of its kind in the world, to transfer 22 royal mummies in a majestic world parade from the place of its current display in the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the place of its permanent display in the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat.
The wait for the Royal parade is finally over! The date is set for The Pharaohs’ Golden Parade on April 3, where 22 mummies will gracefully roam the streets of Cairo.
The process of moving the royal mummies will comply with strict safety and security standards for the transport. The mummies are very well maintained and placed in state-of-the-art sterile cases inside special boxes to guarantee their immaculate preservation and loaded on carriages that have been designed specifically for the event.
